FGBB User Support
Google Apps for FGBB (fgb2.jp) POP access

: This manual is about a POP access function of Google Apps for FGBB equipped with Gmail.
: This manual is based on Windows Outlook Express 6.0.
: This manual shows how to receive your "@fgb2.jp" mail address in Outlook Express.
: For "@fgbb.jp" addresses, please refer to the usual mail settings.
1.Log in to "FGBB Mail" of Google Apps for FGBB and click "Settings" on the top of the screen.
When opening "Settings", the "General" tab is displayed.
Select the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab and set the followings.
- POP download:
Select either "Enable POP for all mail" or "Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on"
and click "Save changes".

2.Start Outlook Express and select "Accounts (A)" from "Tool (T)".

3.Click the "Mail" tab in "Internet Account" and click "Add (A)".

4.Referring to "Mail Setting Information" that FiberGate has given, set the followings for "Name" and "Email address".
- Your Name:
Enter an arbitrary name
- Email address:
(Issued address)@fgb2.jp
Click "Next".

5.For "Incoming mail server name" and "Internet Mail Logon", set followings.
- My incoming server is:
"POP3" server
- Incoming mail (POP3, IMTP or HTTP) server:
pop.gmail.com
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
smtp.gmail.com
Click "Next".
- Account Name:
(Issued address)@fgb2.jp
- Password:
(Issued passwords)
Click "Next"

6. Click "Finish" and back to "Internet Accounts".
From the account column in the "Mail" tab, select the account created "pop.gmail.com" and click "Properties" on the right.

7. Select the "Advanced" tab and set "Server port number" for sent mails and received mails.
Outgoing email (SMTP)
- "This sever requires a secure connection (SSL) (Q)": Tick
- Outgoing email (SMTP) (O): Enter "465"
Incoming email (POP)
- "This server requires connections protected by security (SSL) (Q)": Tick
When ticked, the numbers of "Incoming email (POP) (O): " change to "995" automatically.
The order of "Outgoing email" (SMTP) and "Incoming email" (POP) in the mail server list is different depending on the version of software.
Please enter correct information for each.

8. Checking the port number, click the "Server" tab and tick "My Server requires authentication (V)".
Click "OK".
Emails sent to "@fgb2.jp" are received in your email software.
Now, settings for POP access are completed.
