FGBB User Support

Windows Vista

1.Open "Control Panel"from "Start Menu ()".
2.From "Control Panel" displayed, click "View network status and tasks".
3."Network and Sharing Center" is displayed on the window.
From the tasks on the left side of the screen, click "Manage network connections".

4. "Network Connections" is shown.
"Local Area Connection" is shown in "LAN or High-Speed Internet".

* Above may not be displayed unless it is recognized correctly. Please refer to "FGBB Connection Manual" to confirm cabling such as LAN cables.

5.Right-click the icon of local area connection to be used and select "Properties (R)" from the menu displayed.
[ If the following windows are displayed, click "Continue" ]

* When you are requested to enter passwords, please enter the passwords for the administrator account.

6."Networking" tab of "Local Area Connection Properties" is displayed.
Confirm that "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)" is ticked and select it, then click "Properties (R)".
7.Select "Obtain an IP address automatically (O)" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically (B)" of "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)" and click "OK".
8.Back to "Local Area Connection Properties" and click "Close".
9.Next, set Internet options.
Open "Control Panel" from "Start Menu", click "Network and Internet".

10.Click "Internet Options" and select the "Internet Option" displayed.

11.Click "Connections" tab from "Internet Properties" and set as follows.
12.Dial up and virtual private network:Select "Never dial a connection (C)" and click "LAN settings (L)".
13."Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" is displayed.

"Automatic configuration"
--"Automatically detect settings": untick
--"Use automatic configuration script (S)": untick
"Proxy server" frame
--"Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) (X)": untick

Click "OK" when completing the setting.
Back to "Internet Properties" and click "OK".
Now, Internet option settings are completed.
